Coffee in the United States is served by three kinds of places: national chains with drive-thrus and mobile ordering, independent neighborhood cafes that double as a workspace or a meeting spot, and specialty shops that roast their own beans or buy single-origin lots and brew them by pour-over, espresso or cold brew. Most open between 6 and 7 a.m. on weekdays, slightly later on weekends, and the busiest hour is the commute rush before 9. A drip coffee runs a few dollars, espresso drinks and specialty pours more, and tipping a dollar or a percentage on the card reader is customary but not required. Nearly every cafe offers free Wi-Fi, though some limit laptop seating at peak times or on weekends, and outlets are often the scarce resource.

The business lists hours on 5 days of the week. The most common schedule is 9 am–6 pm. Note that it does not open on Monday, Tuesday. Beacon is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Beacon follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

kitties :) Ive seen a lot of reviews mentioning the smell and yeah it was a lil stinky. I recommend using wood litter instead of clay. it cuts down the pee/amonia smell A LOT. it's what I use with my kitty at home. chai I ordered was very tasty. their little gray kitty is a stinker. love him so much <3

I enjoyed my time at the cat cafe this weekend. Although the cats seemed well cared for this is just out of general concern I’d like to suggest a couple of things that can help the cats feel more comfortable. I would lower the volume of the music in the room or even eliminate it completely because cats are very sensitive to sound. I would also make the cat room better ventilated or the AC stronger. It was stronger in the lobby area outside but pretty warm inside where the cats were. They have fur and need cooler temperatures especially with this heat. One of the tabby’s in particular seemed anxious and wanted to be outside where the lobby is, perhaps allowing that cat to be the front desk cat if possible they seem to really want to be in that outside area near the cash register. Again the cats there seemed well taken care of these were just some suggestions as a cat mom myself that I noticed.

What a fun way to grab a cup of coffee! My friend and I had never been to a cat cafΓ© before, so this stop was a delight. We each ordered a coffee, and I enjoyed a hot latte while spending 30 minutes with the cats. They were all fun to pet, though some were more interested in visitors than others, which is completely understandable. My personal favorite was the senior cat, Chloe. If I could have taken her home, I absolutely would have! Overall, it was a lovely experience, and I'd recommend it to any cat lover looking for a unique coffee stop.

My daughter loved it here! So many sweet cats to pet! The staff was very accommodating, too, when I booked the wrong date. The staff was also informative with cat names and info about each one. We got a coffee and some treats which were also good.

We stumbled upon Beans on a walk thru Beacon. And I can't be any happier that we did. This small , inviting little cafe was just what we needed. The 2 young ladies working were very friendly and explained all rules as well as directed us to the listed version as we washed our hands. Our drinks were delicious and honestly exceeded our expectations. Now, the cats. All the cats there were clean, and sweet , there was not a smell and the whole cafe was clean and smelled good. I highly recommend visiting and getting a boost of love , while also helping rescue cats get seen and get love. Please visit if you're in Beacon.
